Welcome to our Club

Join us on trips, build your skills with training, enjoy the social environment of the club or discount purchases for your vehicle. We welcome all!

Our club was formed in 1991 and our members make up a wide cross section of the community who all enjoy the chance to escape to the great outdoors.

The club is open to all types of 4WD vehicles and promotes safe and environmentally sustainable driving.

Visitors are most welcome to attend our meetings or trips
 

Meetings

 
Club General Meetings are held on the first Wednesday bi monthly.

Meetings start at 7.30pm at the Bridge Evangelical Christian Church, 10 Thomas Street, Murray Bridge.(The Club is not religion based and only uses these premises for the purpose of conducting it’s meetings). All visitors are welcome.

Following the meeting, tea, coffee and biscuits are available to allow members and visitors to socialize.

Visitors are very welcome to attend the General Meetings. Please introduce yourself to a member or sign the attendance book upon arrival so as to be acknowledged by the President during the proceedings.

Visitors are allowed to attend 2 trips free and then asked to consider joining.

Interested persons can apply for joining information to be sent to them via email by contacting the secretary at the email address provided in the Contact Us page of this website.

At meetings there is usually a guest speaker whose presentation provides some interesting information on matters generally relating to 4WDs or club interests. Sometimes, a movie or slide show by a member of a recent trip is presented. The club provides a laptop and projector to facilitate Powerpoint and similar presentations.

On street and off street parking is available.

Members are encouraged to participate in the committee running the club and are welcome to attend committee meetings (refer committee meetings below).

The Club has a wealth of experience for travel in remote parts of the country including the Simpson Desert, Cape York, the Kimberly region, the Canning Stock Route, Flinders Ranges and the Victorian Alps.

Committee Meetings

Held bi-monthly( except January) on a week night as determined by the President at the prior General Meeting. The venue is usually selected at the same time.

Members are welcome to attend Committee Meetings but are asked to provide prior notice to the President or Secretary at murraybridge4wdclub@gmail.com
