Easter – The Grampians – April 2017

On our recent trip over Easter to the Grampians, we had the best weather imaginable but the crowds were huge, particularly around Halls Gap and any tourist destination such as waterfalls.

The southern Grampians were less busy and I personally thought were much nicer than the northern area.

Tracks such as Harrops Track were heavily corrugated and every free and paid campsite was packed. There was one major problem we encountered when our peaceful campsite was invaded by about 20 youths on Saturday night who proceeded to play their loud music and talk loudly until 3.30am. It only stopped then due to my calling the police and they attended, telling them to end it. Bloody inconsiderate people!!

Any way, the place is certainly pretty and I am attaching some photos to prove it. Enjoy!
